THE BASICS

What is a DTF transfer?

DTF (direct-to-film) means your design is printed onto a clear film with a white underbase, then coated with a heat-activated adhesive powder. You position the film on a garment, press it with heat and pressure, and peel the film away — the print stays on the fabric. Unlike screen printing there are no screens, no color limits and no minimums; unlike vinyl there is nothing to weed. One transfer works on cotton, polyester, blends, fleece and canvas, light or dark.
