What's the difference between by-size DTF and a gang sheet?
By-size means you order one design cut to a specific dimension — no layout work required. A gang sheet packs many designs onto a single sheet to lower the cost per print. If you only need one graphic at a set size, by-size is faster; for bulk runs, build a gang sheet instead.
What sizes can I order?
Choose from a range of listed sizes, from small pocket and sleeve prints up to large front and back designs. Pick the size closest to your artwork and each transfer is cut to those exact dimensions. If you need many sizes at once, a gang sheet is usually more economical.
How do I apply by-size DTF transfers?
Press at 285–320°F for 8–15 seconds depending on fabric (cotton: 310–320°F for 12–15 seconds) with medium-firm pressure, then hot peel the film away. Is there a minimum order or setup fee?

Every by-size transfer is printed on the same DTF film we run for gang sheets and wholesale rolls: dense white underbase, hot-peel finish, cut to the size you order. Orders ship within 24 hours, Monday to Friday, from St. Petersburg, FL. Everything below comes straight from our production floor and our policies.

Our Guarantee
If we got it wrong, we make it right. Every sheet is checked before it ships. If a print defect, adhesion problem or misprint on our side slips through, we reprint it free, and we will not ask you to ship it back.
- Covered: print defects (banding, missing or shifted colors, white-ink gaps), transfers that lift or crack when pressed within spec and washed per the care guide, wrong size or product from our side, and damage in transit.
- How to claim: tell us within 7 days of delivery with your order number and clear photos (or a short video) via the order issue form or info@beartransfers.com. Once confirmed, the reprint goes straight back into production.
- Not covered: low-resolution or non-transparent files, dismissed resolution warnings, wrong press settings, wrong size or quantity ordered, and normal wear.
Pressing Instructions
- Temperature: 290–320°F. 100% cotton: 310–320°F.
- Time: 8–15 seconds. Cotton: 12–15 seconds.
- Pressure: medium, 35–45 psi, firm and even contact.
- Peel: hot peel. Remove the film immediately, in one smooth motion.
- Before: pre-press the garment 3–5 seconds to flatten seams and drive out moisture, the #1 cause of poor adhesion.
- After: re-press 5–10 seconds with a cover sheet for maximum wash life.

Shipping & Returns
- Dispatch: weekday orders are processed and dispatched within 24 hours. Weekend and holiday orders go out the next business day.
- Delivery: UPS Express, 1–3 business days across the US. Tracking is emailed as soon as your order ships.
- Rates: flat $19.90 for transfer orders, free on transfer orders of $99 or more. Blank apparel ships separately from our apparel warehouse and is priced on its own. The exact cost is always shown at checkout.
- Options at checkout: Blind Shipping ($4.90, no Bear branding anywhere in the box) and Package Protection (a free one-time reprint if a package is lost, stolen or damaged in transit).
- Returns: transfers are custom-made, so we cannot accept returns for change of mind, file mistakes or application errors. Defective, damaged or incorrect items are replaced, credited or refunded when reported within 7 days of delivery with your order number and photos.
Artwork Recommendations
- File type: a transparent-background PNG is the preferred file. PDF is also accepted.
- Resolution: 300 DPI at the size you plan to press. DTF prints at 300 DPI, so a 10-inch-wide design should be about 3,000 pixels wide. Upscaling a small file does not add detail.
- Transparency: no hidden white box and no stray semi-transparent pixels. Only your artwork prints; the white underbase is built automatically from the transparent areas, so you do not need to add a white layer.
- Orientation: upload the design as it should read on the garment. Nothing needs to be mirrored.
- Resolution warning: the builder checks your file as you upload. If it flags low resolution, fix the file before ordering; prints made after a dismissed warning are not covered by the guarantee.

Standard DTF or HyperColor?
Both are printed on the same film, carry the same white underbase and press with the same settings. The difference is the ink set behind the print.
Press It Right, Every Time
Five steps and four numbers. Dial these in and the transfer outlives the shirt.
- Pre-press the garmentLint-roll the fabric, then press 3–5 seconds with nothing on it. This flattens seams and drives out moisture, the #1 cause of poor adhesion.
- Position the transferDesign against the fabric, clear film facing up. Center it once; it stays where you put it. Cover with parchment.
- Press290–320°F for 8–15 seconds at medium pressure (35–45 psi). 100% cotton likes the hotter, longer end: 310–320°F for 12–15 seconds.
- Peel hotRemove the film immediately, while warm, in one smooth motion. Do not let it cool.
- Finish and careRe-press 5–10 seconds with a cover sheet for maximum wash life. Wash inside out in cold water, skip fabric softener, tumble dry low.
